Training typically starts off with a warm-up to avoid injuries. We try to mix it up a bit but have a routine that we do quite often (we’ve even been known to do it in an airport during Tour).
The rest of training varies a lot. Often we will complete some sort of drill to improve a specific skill like our catching or countering. We also play games of dodgeball to improve all aspects of our game playing and because that’s why we’re here!
Outside of Training?
Dodgeball is a great sport for fitness as well! It’s one of the few sports that truly use your whole body and is almost a workout by itself.
Consequently, you can do loads to improve your fitness and conditioning for the sport. Our Men’s Captain has written a fantastic document on what you can do to improve your fitness at home, here.
